The first quilt is made from a pattern in the book "More Quilts For Baby" called Ladybug, Ladybug Fly Away. It measures 40 1/2 X 46 1/2 inches and quilted with Element of Water by My Creative Stitches. I used a fleece backing on this with no batting. The color of the fleece pulled through to the top when I quilted it. Never again a fleece backing without a batting! And, after this I had stitch issues with my Gammill.
Then I wanted to use up the construction fabric so I used the cut off triangles from the first quilt to form pinwheels and winged the rest of the creation of the top! This measures 49 inches square and I also used Elements of Water to quilt it with.
